This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Call Engine Inc. ("Call Engine," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of AutoQuoteHelp.com (the "Site"), collects, uses, and shares information about visitors and callers. By accessing the Site or calling any telephone number displayed on the Site, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
AutoQuoteHelp.com is a marketing and lead-generation website that connects consumers with licensed insurance agents and brokers. We are not an insurance company, agency, or broker. We do not underwrite policies, issue quotes, or make insurance decisions.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you call us or interact with the Site, the licensed agents who answer our phone lines may ask you to provide information such as:
- Name, address, telephone number, and email address
- Date of birth and gender
- Driver's license number and driving history
- Vehicle information (year, make, model, VIN, usage)
- Current insurance policy details, including carrier, coverage limits, and premium
- Household information relevant to your insurance quote, such as other drivers
- Any other information you voluntarily share during the call
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we (or third-party services acting on our behalf) automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
- Referring URL and the pages you view on the Site
- Date and time of your visit and time spent on each page
- Click and interaction data, including which buttons or links you select
2.3 Information from Third Parties
To provide accurate quotes, licensed agents and the insurance carriers they represent may obtain additional information about you from third-party sources, including consumer reporting agencies, motor vehicle records (MVRs), Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange (CLUE) reports, and credit-based insurance scores. The specific sources used depend on the carrier and applicable state law.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To connect you with insurance agents and carriers who can provide you with auto insurance quotes
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- To improve and operate the Site, including analyzing usage trends and measuring the effectiveness of our marketing
- To deliver and measure advertising, including via Microsoft Advertising (Bing), Google Ads, and other advertising platforms
- To comply with legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from government authorities
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and technical problems
- To enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 With Insurance Agents and Carriers
This is the primary purpose of our service. When you call AutoQuoteHelp.com, the information you share will be transmitted to one or more licensed insurance agents and the carriers they represent so that they can provide you with a quote, contact you regarding your request, and complete any application or binding process you initiate. Once your information is shared with an agent or carrier, that agent's or carrier's own privacy policy will govern their use of your information. We encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
4.2 With Service Providers
We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including call routing and telephony providers, website hosting and analytics providers, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and advertising platforms. These service providers are contractually limited in how they may use your information.
4.3 With Advertising and Analytics Partners
We use third-party services such as Microsoft Advertising (Bing UET), Google Ads, and similar analytics platforms to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns. These services may receive information about your interactions with the Site, including button clicks and call-button taps. See Section 6 for more on cookies and tracking technologies.
4.4 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Use; to protect the safety, rights, or property of Call Engine, our users, or others; or in connection with the investigation of fraud or other wrongdoing.
4.5 In a Business Transfer
If Call Engine is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
4.6 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection, or with your express consent.
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for monetary consideration for use in cross-context behavioral advertising. However, our sharing of your information with insurance agents and carriers — which is the entire purpose of using our Site — may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). See Section 10 for your rights.
5. Phone Calls & TCPA Consent
By dialing one of our telephone numbers or otherwise initiating a phone call to AutoQuoteHelp.com or any agent or carrier to whom we route your call, you understand and agree that:
- Calls may be recorded for quality assurance, training, and compliance purposes.
- You consent to receive return calls and text messages from Call Engine, our licensed insurance agent partners, and the insurance carriers they represent, at the telephone number you call from or that you provide to us — including by automated dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, and SMS — for the purpose of providing you with insurance quotes and related information.
- Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may receive insurance quotes without providing such consent by directly contacting insurance companies of your choice.
- You may revoke consent at any time by following the instructions in any message you receive or by contacting us as described in Section 15.
- Standard message and data rates may apply for any SMS messages you receive.
Different carriers and agents may have separate consent practices. Once your information has been transmitted to a carrier or agent, that party's communications practices are governed by their own policies and applicable law.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") to operate the Site, analyze how it is used, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
6.1 Types of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the Site to function properly.
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use the Site (for example, which pages are visited most often) so that we can improve it.
- Advertising cookies: Used by our advertising partners — including Microsoft Advertising (Bing UET) and Google Ads — to measure ad performance and to deliver advertisements that may be of interest to you.
6.2 Managing Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect the functionality of the Site. To opt out of interest-based advertising from many advertising networks, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info or the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org.
6.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because no industry standard for responding to DNT signals has been established, our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information, and you provide your information at your own risk.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, to comply with legal, accounting, tax, or reporting obligations, and to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Once your information has been shared with an insurance agent or carrier, retention by that party is governed by their own policies.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on the state in which you reside, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include:
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share about you
- The right to request access to or a copy of your personal information
- The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information
- The right to request deletion of your personal information
- The right to opt out of certain sharing of your personal information
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 15. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Civ. Code § 1798.80(e) (such as driver's license number); commercial information (such as records of services requested); internet or other network activity (such as browsing history and interactions with the Site); geolocation data (approximate, derived from IP address); and inferences drawn from the above to create a profile reflecting your preferences and characteristics.
10.2 Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically from your interactions with the Site, and from third-party sources as described in Section 2.3.
10.3 Business Purposes for Collection
We collect personal information for the business purposes described in Section 3.
10.4 Categories of Third Parties to Whom We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose the categories of personal information described above to the categories of third parties described in Section 4 (insurance agents and carriers, service providers, advertising partners, and others as described).
10.5 "Sale" and "Sharing" of Personal Information
The CCPA defines "sale" and "sharing" broadly. While we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration in the conventional sense, our transmission of your information to insurance agents and carriers, and our use of advertising cookies, may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA.
10.6 Your CCPA Rights

To exercise your CCPA rights, including your right to opt out of sale or sharing, please contact us using the information in Section 15, or email us at privacy@autoquotehelp.com with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line.
10.7 Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make CCPA requests on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of your written authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.
11. Nevada Residents
If you are a Nevada resident, you have the right under Nevada law to opt out of the sale of certain personal information to third parties who intend to license or sell that information. To submit such a request, please email us at privacy@autoquotehelp.com with "Nevada Privacy Request" in the subject line.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete that information as soon as reasonably possible. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us using the information in Section 15.
13. Third-Party Sites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including the websites of insurance carriers, agents, and our service providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons.
